Lead Based Paint Inspection

Residential & Commercial Lead Inspection Services

Buildings constructed prior to 1978 may contain lead-based paint, which can pose health risks when paint is deteriorating or disturbed. HazCorp Environmental Services helps homeowners, property managers, and buyers identify potential lead hazards through professional testing, risk assessments, and clearance examinations.

Our services include lead hazard screens for homes in good condition, comprehensive lead risk assessments for higher-risk situations, non-destructive lead-based paint inspections using advanced XRF technology, and post-abatement clearance testing. All residential lead services are performed by Ohio Department of Health–licensed Lead Risk Assessors in accordance with state regulations.

For commercial and industrial facilities, HazCorp assists employers with OSHA compliance by evaluating potential lead and heavy metal exposure through paint and air sampling. Our assessments help identify risks associated with lead, chromium, cadmium, and other metals commonly found in industrial coatings, supporting safer work environments and informed decision-making.
